Meet The Staff -> Darla

Darla has worked at VVAC for 2 1/2 years. She has 4 dogs, 2 pits Mia and Tankers, adopted from NOAH Animal Rescue, 1 rat terrier, Minnie, a Chi-Chi, Hannah and 2 cats Winkie and Mystique. At home, she enjoys watching television, hanging out with her pets, and talking with friends. When you see her in the clinic, you’ll most likely find her cuddling a small pet or on the floor petting a larger animal, since she wants every patient to feel comfortable and loved. Darla enjoys meeting with the clients and pets at Village Vet, treating every pet like it was her own, because that’s how she wants her own pets treated. “I treat everyone’s pets the way I want my own to be treated, whether they’re in for yearly vaccines or because they are really sick. A little love and affection can go a long way in the healing process. I really enjoy my job and find it very rewarding knowing that we truly make a difference in the lives of the animals we treat and their ‘parents.’”
